  I had an oil change performed along with a transmission drain and fill on my 328 I back in Jan 2017. I had noticed some oil fumes few days after the oil change I figured few drops may have spilled during fill near the filler hole, I wiped what I could. yesterday I figured I'd rather change the oil myself since I prefer to do it anyways.
  
  I jacked up the car and went to loosen the oil pan drain plug, only to see wet engine oil all over the pan plug and the undercarriage splash guard was wet coated with engine oil, the oil pug was tight, after I loosened it , it seems that the tech forgot to remove the old drain plug gasket that was stuck on the block and ended up putting a new gasket on top of the old gasket and torqued it up. in my oil drain pan I ended up taking off 2 gaskets :-(. I am awed on how careless can anyone be putting 2 gaskets and not even looking when putting the plug back in. Never got the low engine light and I normally top it off by a half quart over, luck didnt do major damage.
  
  Now I am concerned if the same may have happened to the transmission drain and fill plug? although that seems more recessed type I cleaned up the splash guard and any remaining engine oil , thinking about taking it to BMW to double check the trans plugs, but on second thought do I really trust those monkies to even touch this car now???
